Thanks to NY Castings, as a non-union actor, I landed one of my biggest supporting roles to date for a mini-series special to air on a major cable network this Fall! Earlier this year (2011) I submitted my headshot for an independent feature film through NYCastings. I got called into audition and got a supporting role in the Feature Film "Potnah" which has just recently won Best independent Feature Film at the 2011 Pocono Mountains Film Festival. Hi! I received a Urgent Role Alert Sept 28 for a Police Chief on the Jon Stewart Daily Show and submitted -within 10 min , I got a call saying they saw my reel and that I had the intensity they were looking for and if I wanted to do the skit I would not have to audition -Walla! the next noonday I was in studio with Christopher Melone of Law & Order fame to do the scene which was broadcast before millions 11PM that same night Sept 29, 2011_ Thank You NY Castings..Bob Van Lindt

I just booked a role for a Pilot "Inanimate Copject". I also, had and audition two weeks ago and the audition went well however,they did not cast me for the the feature but offered me a lead role in a short film that I will shoot in January. My very short story is as follows: It has not been two weeks since joining and uploading my profile to NYCastings when I received a call for a background role in the HBO Short Film Pilot - The Come Up.
