This short film is about Henry Garcia fictional character oblivious to a lost love due to a college football concussion. Henry does not make the NFL draft. We open up 18 months later in Henry's apartment we see shots of the living room and it's in disarray we fall into the pictures. Some on the wall others broken framed and slouched over on messy coffee tables. Some of these picture are of our character, of his family, his friends, teammates and trophies he's earned as a football star athlete. Some Scenes: We hear a knock on the door. It's Henry's boy E.Money - E.Money: Henry I know you're in there. You gonna leave me out here? It's raining. Henry is depressed because of his lost love and failing to make it into the NFL all he does is stay home, sleep and abuse cough syrup. E-Money talks Henry into going out to a night club and celebrating forgetting his past. They are sitting at a table waiting for drinks to come. Two girls approach the table - Melody and Colleen. We fade to black and see the two knocked out. The door is being knocked on and it wakes Henry up. it is Anna, the young neighbor who Henry lets smoke marijuana in his home, because her mom is a church lady. - Anna: Hey I need my stash in your cabinet. Can I smoke? My mom is stressing me out. We see Henry's face close up. The camera pulls back and we see Henry's body. It's revealed he's sleeping on the couch with a written note taped on him reads: 'DUDE GET YOUR SHIT TOGETHER -MELODY AND HENRY. Henry is written upside down. Effects of Cough Syrup reads across the screen. The End. Casting Dates: TBD and by appointment only Shoot Dates: July 27-29. One shoot date only and possibly two days for Colleen role. She wears big accessories and tight fitting clothes. E Money | Male | Hispanic, Multi-Ethnic | Age: 24 - 27 | Role Type: Supporting Talent should be able to appear as a former college football player. Actor should have a full figured/athletic build. He was a full back on the team Melody | Female | Hispanic, Multi-Ethnic | Age: 24 - 27 Melody must be very pretty and willing to have a suggestive one night stand scene not fully nude, bare back in small underwear. Melody is a football savvy enthusiast. She wears a very stylish night dress, light makeup and bright lipstick. Melody should look very innocent, light skin.
