Fashion Videographer - Internship

If you are videographer who is passionate about the Fashion Industry. . . This is the perfect Internship for you. We're a fast growing Fashion satellite channel that broadcast to 120 countries worldwide. We are expanding in New York City and we are looking for a enthusiastic hard working and talented videographer intern to help us cover Fashion events in the city. This is a very "hands on" opportunity. You will go out and shoot events with our content manager and you will possibly work on projects on your own. This is an amazing opportunity for film/videography students recent graduates and people who want to improve their portfolio and are trying to get a foot in the Fashion Industry door. Besides covering events the intern will meet with our Content Manager once or twice a week for a few hours to go over schedules networking and projects. This is an un-paid internship but there is always an opportunity for growth You will also be able to use the videos you worked as part of your portfolio and resume.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Cover Fashion eventsn, parties, photo shoots backstage, street style, etc.
2. Work closely with the Content Provider/Manager to accomplish all tasks needed.
3. Brainstorm new shoot ideas and future projects.
4. Help with editing/logging.
5. The ideal candidate has a moderate to strong background in videography: knows how to operate a camera the different types of shot formats audio and Broadcast standards.
6. Has a high interest in the Fashion Industry, a hard working professional and creative.
7. Knowledge in editing iMovie is preferred but not required.
