Brody | Male | Caucasian | Age: 28 - 40 | Role Type: Supporting
Brody is very tall, dark, and handsome, but he's a braggart and a showman. He really enjoys controlling and harassing his chorus girls, who he hired for his act at the Lyceum. A manipulator, he uses people or tricks them to get what he wants. NOTE: All actors should be able to rehearse and perform during daytime hours. All must be strong singers in standard musical theatre style and have a flair for comedy.
DA Jerome | Male | Caucasian | Age: 40 - 50 | Role Type: Supporting
A Portrait in Frustration, this State Prosecutor can never seem to win a trial, though he definitely tries, if the defense is being represented by Howe Hummel. He fights hard and with passion, determined to rid us of the team of Howe Hummel. NOTE: All actors should be able to rehearse and perform during daytime hours. All must be strong singers in standard musical theatre style and have a flair for comedy.
Gabby | Female | Any Ethnicity | Age: 30 - 40 | Role Type: Supporting - Updated: 6/11/2012
Should be a comic character actress, alto/mezzo belt/mix, a bit hardened by chorus girl life, always getting in the middle of things and gabbing. She is an extrovert and a catalyst. NOTE: All actors should be able to rehearse and perform during daytime hours. All must be strong singers in standard musical theatre style and have a flair for comedy.
Police Chief Byrne | Male | Caucasian | Age: 35 - 50 | Role Type: Supporting
Byrne speaks with a comically lower class NY accent in which his name Byrne rhymes with 'loin' and in malapropisms, in which he tries to sound educated from his many years as a police officer, and has no idea how funny he is. He takes bribes and brags that he can beat a confession out of anyone. Talent should look powerful enough to do that, and maybe a little heavy set from his desk job. NOTE: All actors should be able to rehearse and perform during daytime hours. All must be strong singers in standard musical theatre style and have a flair for comedy.
Tessie | Female | Any Ethnicity | Age: 25 - 40 | Role Type: Supporting
Tessie is a hardened barmaid at the Rat's Pit, a dive, suspicious of anyone who isn't drinking. Doubles as a chorus girl and an Egyptian dancer on trial. NOTE: All actors should be able to rehearse and perform during daytime hours. All must be strong singers in standard musical theatre style and have a flair for comedy.
