Senior Writer
Lisa Montalto is an east coast transplant who has been living in Los Angeles for the past ten years. A writer from a very young age, she began her career in major market radio at KISS 108 FM in Boston. It is there that she became hooked on the entertainment business, doing on air work with the Matty in the Morning show, as well as live commercials. Radio led to TV, where she worked for CBS writing news promos, and then made the move to Los Angeles landing a job at Business Rockstars radio as a Segment Producer. Lisa always knew that LA was where she needed to be to really sink her teeth into the business. Her unique voice and enthusiasm transcends the microphone, resonating with the audience on hot topics and news stories affecting Los Angeles, the country, and the world. Today, Lisa writes film and television screenplays for hire, packages films and tv pilots for funding and sale to networks or studios, and writes entertainment and trending news, viral content, and pop-culture articles for top online portals. Working for one of the top producers in Hollywood, Christine Peters, from the film, How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days,’ Lisa had the chance to work on Peters’ next screenplay, and has plans to bring Hollywood back to Boston with a film based on the true story of the most historic fire in the country. For Lisa, it’s all about entertainment, whether she’s writing it, funding it, or talking it up on radio or tv.
