Singers Forum has developed a unique, integrated training method, which combines the following: Relaxation and Breathing.  Intensive work on a relaxation technique and breathing exercise form the basis for vocal strength and dramatic technique. The exercises teach the proper release of energy while building physical strength. They help the students to overcome nervousness and to lose stage fright. Great results have already been demonstrated by the obvious ease with which so many Singers Forum students perform. This part of the training is not offered anywhere else in this country.

Performance Technique, an integral part of our training is the performance class, in which students begin to experience what it is like to utilize the techniques learned in performance situations.

All aspects of song performance are taught as an integrated whole. The focus is on the development of stage presence through:

• calmness
• freedom
• vulnerability
• slow preparation of every word and musical nuance
• releasing one's energy and spirit to communicate joy and truth

The result is believable performances and real warmth between the singers and their audiences.
