How DirectSubmit Works
H H HOLMES | Male | Caucasian | Age: 30 - 35 | Hair: Brown | Eyes: Blue | Role Type: Leading
Charismatic. Not Scary. Charming. The killer. Hotel owner during the 1893 Chicago World's Fair. An expert swindler who could never resist the opportunity to turn a profit, Holmes was responsible for the murder of an innumerable amount of victims.

ROSEMARY ROSS | Female | Caucasian | Age: 20 - 25 | Hair: Brown | Role Type: Supporting
Straight brown hair, thin, pale complexion. Victim. Rosemary is a 22 year old mid-western girl who comes to Chicago seeking work, and a husband. In HH Holmes she may find both. In our trilogy he offers her employment, seduces her and then kills her by strangulation. She is the first victim of the series.

NED CONNER | Male | Caucasian | Age: 32 - 37 | Role Type: Supporting
Ned Conner was a struggling young jeweler who had moved from mid-western town to town seeking work to provide for his wife and child. Ned came to the Murder Castle with his wife, Julia, and daughter Pearl and was employed in the jewelry counter that Holmes housed in his pharmacy. Ned was not pleased with the attention Holmes extended to Julia, and found himself cuckolded, as he watched Julia grow closer to Holmes. Eventually Ned Conner divorced Julia and left his family with Holmes.

JULIA CONNER | Female | Caucasian | Age: 24 - 29 | Hair: Blonde | Role Type: Supporting
Tall, blonde hair, buxom, think Kim Basinger in LA Confidential. Victim. Julia, 27, worked in a clerical capacity in Holmes's mail-order medicine business. The tall blonde and Holmes became lovers. Julia's husband, Ned, divorced Julia and left town. Julia then pestered Holmes to marry her. He stalled until Julia announced that she was pregnant. Holmes used the promise of marriage to convince her to submit to an abortion. When she finally consented on Christmas Eve 1891, Holmes poisoned her with Chloroform.

ALICE MAYHEW | Female | Caucasian | Age: 29 - 34 | Hair: Brown | Role Type: Supporting
Medium to heavy build, Investigates her friend Emeline's disappearance. Alice is a fictional friend of Emeline Cigrand. Her actions are not the dis-similar from Cigrand's father (and a few other family members), who hounded Holmes (about missing family and friends), and did indeed hire a private detective.

EMELINE CIGRAND | Female | Caucasian | Age: 20 - 25 | Hair: Blonde | Eyes: Blue | Height: 5´ 9" - 6´ 2" | Role Type: Supporting
Taller than Holmes. Unusual beauty. Engaged to Holmes. Victim. Cigrand was secretary to the head of a chain of sobriety clinics. Holmes's handyman, Ben Pitezel, went there for treatment and returned, not sober, but with a glowing report of their secretary's great beauty. In May, 1892 Holmes lured her away for a 50% increase in salary. Cigrand and Holmes got engaged. She knew of one of his wives, so Holmes insisted that she only refer to him as Robert Phelps, until he could get divorced. He locked her in a vault until she died of suffocation.

BETH BICKFORD | Female | Caucasian | Age: 20 - 25 | Hair: Black | Role Type: Supporting
Beth, is a young woman who comes to boomtown Chicago seeking work and romance. She too finds both in H.H. Holmes and the Murder Castle. Composite, fictional character based off of Emily Van Tassel, and other women who disappeared around the same time Holmes was in Chicago.
