Project Description: Casting "The Tenth Lodge" a feature film. Synopsis: Ten members of a cult are willing to pay the ultimate sacrifice to feel the love and acceptance of family. Promised to them, a perfect life in heaven by their comforting and mesmerizing leader who simply goes by "The Guide". The followers willingly accept a holy communion which will send them to their deaths in the most perfect way, martyrdom. But what unravels when there are ten people in a room who all know they are about to die for a cause that they have believed to be true until death comes knocking.

Additional Instructions: We accept recorded auditions and in-person auditions. Future in-person auditions will take place at different dates. We will be casting through July so recorded auditions are welcome throughout that date.

Prefer 35 to 40 years old, Talent should be very good looking and a smile that could melt hearts. Looking for a Jesus or Viking type. Beard a plus, but not a requirement, long hair not necessary. Not your typical cult leader, the guide is a highly intelligent and objectively likable/ charismatic man with a troubled past. Dialogue heavy, role​ should be able to convey warmth and darkness. PEGGY | Female | Caucasian | Age: 20 - 35 | Role Type: Supporting
Prefer 23 to 27 years old. Note if the talent is flexible with hairstyles (cutting). Peggy is a 25-year-old girl who works at a local beachfront diner to support her alcoholic abusive father and her younger brother. Her father begins beating her this year in areas that she cannot cover up. She meets The Guide shortly after this starts happening. The Guide sees her visible bruises and reaches out to her to join a safe lifestyle he is crating on the outskirts of town in open country. She joins and eventually convinces her brother to join so that he no longer has to live with their father. Prefer 27 to 35 years old. Rita is a 30-year-old woman who used to have a passion for journalism and worked for The Chronicle. She got a hold of early radio casts of The Guide speaking about his practices and contacted him about publishing some of his groundbreaking work in the paper. He publishes a series of essays, at the end of the publications Rita ends up leaving the Chronicle to go and document his work but along the way ends up being converted to a follower. Prefer 35 to 45 years old. Kenneth is an introverted 38-year-old​ man that has worked in his Grandfather's cabinet shop building cabinets his whole life. He has constantly been overlooked his whole life and spent most of his teen years working in the shop to help his family make ends meet that he never was able to have deep friendships or even attend school dances like his classmates. The Guide stumbles upon Kenneth and he becomes one of the very first victims/followers and has helped The Guide build his Utopia in the open country. Prefer 28 to 30 years old. Douglas is a 28-year-old recent Marine veteran who became crippled in the ​war on a mission that was completely unnecessary. When he arrives home his family and friends no longer know how to adapt, deal, or accept him as a cripple. When he was young he was the Varsity Quarterback, he meets the guide in a bar and the Guide offers him one thing that no one has offered him since the war: friendship. Prefer 55 to 65 years old. All body types welcome. Note if talent can sing. (blues/ gospel preferred). Doris Is a 60-year-old#8203; woman who is the niece of the biggest Reverend in her small town. She had been sheltered her whole life dedicating herself to God. She meets the Guide who visits her church, praises her kindness and heart and eventually gets her to believe that those are the exact qualities that can help change the course of the world if she comes with him, that she was destined for greater things than what her small town could give her, she needed to share her gifts of understanding God and dedicate herself to a greater cause. A 21-year-old boy who lives with an abusive alcoholic father in a lower-class household that has beaten him and his older sister, Peggy,​ since he was a child. When Peggy leaves for the cult Bobby is forced to stay at home and realizes for the first time that his father will never change. Bobby then thanks to his sister's​ guidance decides to join the cult. Prefer 35 to 40 years old. Desperate and broken, Joanne's husband. Has one long dialogue-heavy​ scene. An important pivotal character, strong acting chops. Their only child that becomes sick with leukemia, his wife is shunned by her church and friends for believing that her daughter could be healed from a terminal diagnosis.
