We answered for a role submission on NYCastings for a background role with good camera time for a movie. On set my daughter got "pumped up" to a "featured/speaking role". This Bollywood movie - English Vinglish just made it's premier release at the Toronto Film Festival on Sept. 14th. The film is due for release in America on Oct 5th. Carina is pictured in her role as the "American Girl". We would not have had this huge opportunity without the posting on NYCastings, for background work - you should use NYCastings, because "you never know"! |

Hi NYCastings, I recently booked a promo commercial for a new TV Network called C.O.D.E TV. I auditioned at NYCastings Thursday, the 30th of August and got booked for the job the next day! The commercial was filmed in Washington, D.C., the production company paid all expenses for the NYC actors to travel to D.C.. All together there were four actors booked for the job from NYC. We left NYC Friday night, filmed Saturday in DC, then came back to NYC Saturday evening. It was so much fun and I thank NYCastings for the posting the casting notice. |

Talent to portray a patient talking to her doctor as he writes a prescription. This will be 2 hours of work including makeup. You will be the only pro talent. Working with a real doctor who only has about an hour to spend. Once he has to go the shoot is over. It's one shot only. You will need to provide your own wardrobe and be there close to shoot ready so that the stylist only has to do light touch up/hair on you. Must be able to self-report to location. |
