Each week at the beginning of every class we will start with a short vocal and physical warm-up. You will be working on scenes and monologues based on your type and what you are looking to accomplish in this industry.
We’ll work on interview skills when given an opportunity to meet with casting directors, agents and managers, and what they really look for. You will work in depth on a scene and/or monologue to develop your skills as an actor both with a scene partner and in an audition scenario.
Scenes and monologues will be assigned based on your type. Each week you will work on material assigned to you or you are welcome to bring in a selection that you have been wanting to work on. You will perform the prepared piece and get live feedback and adjustments. In our last week, your final presentation will be treated as if it were a real audition.
