Casting "Humanity's Child," a musical. Production states: "The show was in residence at the Players Off-Broadway all last summer, was nominated for 'Best Musical' in the New York Theater Festival, and was recently invited to 'appear' in the prestigious 2020 Atlanta Fringe Audio Festival. An 'audible' version of the show will be on-line for a full year beginning May 24th.

We have been in production for the past few months only to be stopped cold by the global pandemic. In this time of 'social distancing,' it has become literally dangerous for us to practice our art in our usual settings, so, we are pursuing an alternate strategy: the virtual choir/chorus and inviting singers from around the world to participate.

The Virtual Choir/Chorus is a global phenomenon, originally by Eric Whitacre, creating a user-generated chorus that brings together singers in a new way through the use of technology. Singers record and upload their videos from home which are then synchronized and combined into one single performance to create the virtual chorus. This recording can be accomplished with very basic technology: a smart-phone or video cam - a play-back device (computer, iPad, etc.) and ear-phones.

You will be participating initially in an audio recording that will be broadcast as part of the Atlanta Fringe Audio Festival for a full year, May 24, 2020 - May 24, 2021. And, summer 2020 our Video Virtual Musical will be on YouTube. Your name will be listed as a member of the cast and will be heavily promoted by the Festival for the full 12 months."
