Project Description: Casting a darkly comedic, documentary-style short about Eileen, a witty 17-year-old who becomes convinced that a werewolf killed her younger sister. Filming everything on her camcorder, she interviews her eccentric family and searches Chicago's Montrose Beach Bird Sanctuary for clues. What starts as a quirky homemade investigation slowly reveals a deeper story about grief, depression, and the myths families create to explain what they can't face. Blending found-footage, naturalistic performances, and eerie nighttime sequences, the film follows Eileen as her search spirals into a confrontation with the 'wolf'¯ that has haunted her family for generations. Tone: emotional, funny, unsettling, grounded.
