Heidi Levitt Casting is a Los Angeles-based casting company that has cast a broad array of films, from the Academy Award-winning Best Picture, The Artist, to films directed by Oliver Stone, Wayne Wang, Sally Potter, Wim Wenders, Diego Luna, Kim Nguyen, Victor Nunez and many other auteur filmmakers. Heidi often collaborates as a producer with the directors she casts for, and has been part of the producing team on many films. Additionally, she casts national campaigns and commercials for directors including Jean Pierre Jeunet, Janusz Kaminski, Hank Perlman, David Gelb, and Dee Rees. Heidi’s career in casting began at The Ensemble Studio Theatre in New York, where she assisted casting directors, Risa Bramon Garcia and Billy Hopkins. Heidi has continued to cast theatre in Los Angeles, working with the La Jolla Playhouse and more recently the Center Theatre Group and Echo Theater Company.
