We wanted to let you know that we’re getting very close to launching major updates to DirectSubmit / NYCastings.
As part of this transition, the website will fully move to: DirectSubmit.com
NYCastings has been part of our history for many years, and DirectSubmit is the next version of the platform. Over time, NYCastings links and pages will be redirected to the new DirectSubmit website.
Here’s what you need to know:
- Your login will stay the same.
- Your account information will carry over to the new site.
- Your profile, resume, photos, and account data will appear in the new pages.
- New files formats can be uploaded.
- Casting notices and talent submissions will be easier to manage with improved features.
- New gender roles have been added.
- Social & Payment can now be included.
- Expanded locations.
- We’ll be ending the Daily Sheet emails and moving to improved Role Alerts, so you can better track projects that match your type, location, and preferences.
- We’ll be removing the Agents Directory and replacing with Talent Agent accounts in the 2nd phase of the new platform.
This update is designed to make the casting process easier for talent and casting professionals.
We expect this transition to be complete by July 6th. Check this page for the latest information.
